Marvelous Marvin came to us in April 2020 via a donkey sanctuary as a long-term neglect case.
Initially very nervous, Marvin quickly relaxed once he knew he was safe and would be looked after.
He readily accepts new donkeys into his space, but he keeps a watchful eye on them. If they wander out of his sight the whole sanctuary soon knows, as Marvin will call out to his buddies in a very loud voice :)
Occasionally he suffers from flare-ups of his coat (especially during the wet winter season) which is why he needs to take some medications from time to time. He needs to be tricked into swallowing them with a yummy peanut sandwich. However, as there are a lot of hungry eyes at the sanctuary, we must be careful to hide it from everybody else :)
He is a stunning, sweet and gentle soul and is loved by everyone who meets him.

Shipping Policy: We ship with An Post standard post and use A4 board backed enverlopes ot avoid damage or bending. Postal delays may oocur which are outside of our control so we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Cost of shipping is €2.95 to Ireland & Europe, €4 to the UK, and €6 to the US.

Our sanctuary is home to unwanted/neglected farm animals who come here to live out their days in peace and comfort. We're providing sponsorship packages that you can gift to friends and loved ones, knowing that you are giving the gift of love.
As a non-profit, we're rely on donations to pay the food & vet bills for the many animals in our trust. We also have volunteers who help us with work on the land and care of the animals. We also have ongoing costs for maintenance of fences and shelters.
The goal of this store is to highlight soem of the amazing souls who live with us and to raise much needed funds.
