Ruairi came to us nearly three years ago along with his brothers Ryan and Rua. The boys settled so well with everyone but were always together. Sadly, we’ve since lost Ryan and Rua.
Ruairi is a quiet, but extremely beautiful boy (have a look at his majestic green back feathers). He spends his time away from the main group and prefers to be at the top of the land with the pigs, lambs or donkeys. Due to his gentle nature, the cockerels who are part of the main group tend to chase him away, even though he’s by far the biggest cockerel we have here! To make up for the bullying, we give him extra special treatment by having him sleep in the feed store over night with his own personal supply of food, treats and water.
We’re hoping to set him up with a coop and run in the Spring, with some hens of his own, once there’s an improvement in the weather. He’s such a sweet soul and deserves it.

Shipping Policy: We ship with An Post standard post and use A4 board backed enverlopes ot avoid damage or bending. Postal delays may oocur which are outside of our control so we cannot guarantee delivery dates. Cost of shipping is €2.95 to Ireland & Europe, €4 to the UK, and €6 to the US.

Our sanctuary is home to unwanted/neglected farm animals who come here to live out their days in peace and comfort. We're providing sponsorship packages that you can gift to friends and loved ones, knowing that you are giving the gift of love.
As a non-profit, we're rely on donations to pay the food & vet bills for the many animals in our trust. We also have volunteers who help us with work on the land and care of the animals. We also have ongoing costs for maintenance of fences and shelters.
The goal of this store is to highlight soem of the amazing souls who live with us and to raise much needed funds.
