I have collected coins for some time and have had an interest in coins since I was a child. I now share that interest with my own children. I began to think of ways to give new life to old coins that are not of significant interest to collectors. Coins that have a high mintage and therefore are of less interest to collectors. I made myself a keyring from one of my favourite of these types of coins (the pre decimal half crown) in 2022 and from there it began. Others asked me to make key rings from coins that they like and I started to make keyrings as a hobby. I started making pieces of jewellery with coins and continue to try and think of different ways to create with vintage coins to give them new life and keep part of our history alive. In 2024 I started working with silver and copper. All of my hand made silver jewellery is made with 999 fine silver. All of my copper jewellery is made with 999 copper. Both types of metals are 100% recycled material.

Originally from Barcelona,  Spain, I moved to Ireland in 2003 and, after finishing my Post graduate program in Trinity College, I met my future husband. Last year, when our little girl was making her first communion, I realised I wanted to create something special for her, and that's how Goodhouse Creations started. Hello and thanks for visiting my shop! Welcome to my sewed products and knitted creations! I’m an avid knitter and sewer, which comes as no surprise as I’ve grown up in a home filled with sewing machines and knitting needles. My mum made clothes for myself and my sister. My Aunts Shirley, Eileen, and Katie and both Granny’s Isobel and Catherine were all talented home sewers and knitters. To say these skills are in my blood would be an understatement. I love the idea that items we sew and knit can become treasured items. I love bright, colourful and fun fabrics. I hope this translates through the fabrics I choose in creating my post breast surgery pillows, car accessory bags and table accessories. Being part of the this community and having a shop here allows me to have the world at my doorstep and I am so grateful for the platform it has given me. I pride myself on the quality of my work.
