Machine Stitched Blue Silk Pendant Brooch

The pendant on this brooch from ArtDesignBySu inspired the brooch, which I fashioned by placing lots of different coloured threads on a piece of hand dyed blue silk, then machine stitching in place. The brooch measures just over 2 1/2 inches - 6 cms. The pendant measures 1 inch, just under 2 cms.

I like making jewellery, especially earrings, always looking to create a different look; I particularly love to feature re-worked, pre-loved, upcycled pieces. I love fabrics and have made some bags, decorated with lots of different textiles and images; I fashion glasses cases from felt, lined with various fabrics, including silks; I like to knit sometimes; sometimes I like to paint in acrylics. Ultimately, I tend to go wherever the creativity takes me; I look forward to featuring various items in my shop.
