Cnámh | Winner An Post Irish Book Award 2020
A collection of short stories in the Irish language by Eoghan Mac Giolla Bhríde. Eoghan is from the Donegal Gaeltacht and currently lives in Dublin. Cnámh won the An Post Irish Book Awards
This is his third collection of short stories. Idir Feoil is Leathar was published in 2002 by Cosicéim and Díbeartaigh was published in 2005.
Rarely does a writer succeed in producing a work that impacts on the reader in an unforgettable way, such as happens in some of the stories in this collection. There are some wonderful moments of insight, and from start to finish, be they wounded or flawed, the characters embody the flesh and blood of humanity.
