A large Maple Platter (approx.40cm dia).  Maple can be considered a boring wood, but this example proves that assumption wrong. The ripple in it gives it an almost 3 dimensional effect to the wood.  The camera does not do this wood proper justice. This is a truly unique and stunning piece and would make a perfect wedding or special occasion gift that will be treasured into the future.

An heirloom item ideal as a gift. A smaller version the larger stools previously available. These little stools are generally approx. 18cm diameter on the seats and approx. 19cm high. They are made from solid wood in beautiful spalted or flamed beech, sycamore and olive ash, or a combination of two woods. They are finished with a toy safe oil that beautifully brings up the grain and colour of the woods. They will last a lifetime and longer and capture memories as the age.
