Customised Irish Wedding Gift | Handmade Wooden Goblet
This Customised Irish Wedding Gift is a truly unique creation. A handmade wooden goblet, that beholds a beautiful medieval-Irish tradition...
☘️❤️☘️
In 17th century Ireland when a man fell in love with a woman, he carved a goblet to present to her. The gift was lovingly crafted with 2 captive rings, all from a single piece of wood. These 2 rings symbolised love & unity. At their wedding feast, they both drank from the goblet & thereafter kept it in a safe place. For so long as the rings remained unbroken, they would love each other forever.
- Handcrafted in our small Galway-based workshop, by Woodcraftsman Cian Magill.
- Size: 230mm x 100mm x 100mm (9″ x 4″ x 4″).
- Beautifully hand-packaged.

I began to develop Magill Woodcraft Ireland in 2016, my second year of college. With my Dad a carpenter in the film industry, & Mam a commercial artist, a creative & self-employed path was the inevitable choice! The most beautiful item, I knew it would be amazing but it completely exceeded my expectations. You can tell it has been handmade with love and attention to every detail. The service was fantastic, I received messages from the seller updating me on the progress of the item as it was being made which I very much appreciated. The item also arrived very quickly. I cannot recommend Magill Woodcraft Ireland enough!
