A personalised family crossword print that shows between 4 and 10 names arranged in a custom crossword design. Family crosswords, like families, are unique and personal. They’re great gifts for families and grandparents (put all the grandchildren’s names on one print!).
We print all the family names in capital letters and with no punctuation or spaces (so MARY ANNE appears on the crossword as MARYANNE). We don’t print dashes or apostrophes as they break up the crossword design too much. We print the title where it fits nicely with the rest of the crossword – often this will be at the bottom of the print, but sometimes it fits better somewhere else.
The best print orientation (portrait or landscape) for your crossword depends on the names that appear on it. If you have a preference between portrait and landscape, please let us know in the ‘Notes’ box when you order.
Very occasionally it’s not possible to make a crossword from the names you send us. If this happens, we’ll contact you. It can happen, for example, when one of the names has no letters in common with any of the other names, or when lots of the names are very short. We can usually add another word to make a crossword possible (LOVE or FAMILY, for example) but we’ll agree this with you before deciding what to do next.
