These hats are hand crocheted in acrylic and wool mix yarn. They feature an attractive alpaca design in a variegated wool giving each alpaca a different colour.
The hats are made in the Tunisian crochet stitch meaning they are extra warm.

Kilcrohane Alpacas is situated on The Sheep’s Head Peninsula in County Cork, Ireland. The herd was established in 2012 with an initial pair of females. The herd has now increased to fifteen beautiful animals, nine of which were imported from France. Their incredible fleece is processed into a soft, durable and silky yarn which is also hypoallergenic. The yarn is hand crocheted to bring out the best of its properties.
