Kenmare - Co Kerry by Ian Delaney Irish Artist

Kenmare 297mm x 210mm – Framed Print Hahnemuhle Photo Rag Paper This was my first completed painting for 2020. It is of a beach near Lackeen Point in Kenmare, Co Kerry, and is from a beautifully captured photo from a truly talented local nature photographer named Sharon Leahy. I was mesmerized with the sun shining on the sea and glowing through the sea kelp left on the pebbles as the water receded. I tried to capture that beauty in my painting.
