Large Handmade Rippled Maple Platter

A large Maple Platter (approx.40cm dia).  Maple can be considered a boring wood, but this example proves that assumption wrong. The ripple in it gives it an almost 3 dimensional effect to the wood.  The camera does not do this wood proper justice.
