Large Self Draining Teak Wooden Soap Dish, Handmade Soap Tray, Zero Waste, Soap Saver, For Bathroom or Kitchen
Designed and handmade in Ireland these soap dishes have a tray-like recess, full-width slots, and raised feet to allow water to drain freely away from your soap allowing it to dry better and last longer.
These soap dishes have been designed to allow water to drain freely away allowing your soap to dry better and last longer.
Because wood is a natural material each dish has its own unique color and grain pattern.
The wood for each soap dish has been sustainably sourced and crafted from a solid piece of Iroko (same as teak), sanded smooth, and finished with danish oil.
These soap dishes were designed and handmade in my workshop in West Cork.
Each soap dish features a shallow tray-like recess to hold the soap bar in place and have long slots cut into the base to allow water to drain away freely from your soap. The extra-large size of these dishes means they can hold 2 or more soap bars or one very large bar of say laundry soap.
The finish is danish oil which helps to seal the wood and add a further level of protection to the dish.

The dishes are large enough to take a standard size bar of soap. Larger size soap dishes are also available in this shop Metric 19cm long by 9cm wide and 2.1cm tall Inches 7 1/2 inches long by 3 1/2 inches wide and 3/4 inch tall These soap dishes are sold individually.
Shipping:
The soap dish will be posted using standard parcel rates provided by the Irish postal service An Post. The soap dish is ready to ship within 1-2 business days (Monday to Friday) once payment has been received.

All orders are posted using the Irish post office "An Post". While every effort is made to dispatch orders in a timely manner delays within the post can happen.
Buyers are responsible for any customs and import taxes that may apply. I'm not responsible for delays due to customs.
Our products ship via An Post (the Irish postal service) with delivery confirmation. All packages are posted using standard postage rates which does not include tracking. Tracking postage can be provided at an extra cost if required information will be updated on the order if/and once received. Please note tracking information is provided directly by the mail carrier service. We attempt to assist each customer if they should have a shipping inquiry, however we encourage you to contact the assigned mail carrier directly.
Wild Atlantic Wood is not liable for lost or stolen packages. Wild Atlantic Wood will not be held responsible for additional shipping charges if packages are returned to my workshop due to customer absence, customer errors in addresses or package refusal.
We will not be held responsible for any address corrections sent to us AFTER the order has been placed. However, we will do our best to accommodate changes and will inform you if such changes are made.
For national and international orders: Tracking can be provided at an additional cost at the checkout. In order to track your package once it has been posted please contact An Post.ie directly for tracking and customs inquiries. Unfortunately, delays in the post do happen sometimes, however, please be patient as most packages arrive at their destination!
Please allow some time for the status of the shipment to correctly display after receiving tracking numbers.
Are you local?
Local area pickup is available. If you live in or around West Cork and would like to pick up your order or arrange collection, please make note of this when ordering. We will refund all shipping costs less any travel expense. If the item is in stock, we can arrange for you to come pick it up. If you are ordering an item that is made to order, we will contact you when your item is ready.
Wild Atlantic Wood does not offer gift wrapping but each item will be packaged in as Eco-friendly way as possible using recycled paper and cardboard. Bubble wrap may also be used in order to meet strict weight limits imposed by the post office. Packages do not always include an invoice in an effort to save paper.
Delays
Please note in addition to possible production delays listed above, possible shipping delays may occur due to mail carrier service policies. These may include weekends, public holidays, mail carrier service closures, weather delays, and the like.

Cooling Off Period
In accordance with statute and regulation, you may cancel or return your order at any time prior to delivery of the products to you and for a period of 14 days after the delivery of the products to you without any reason (cooling off period). In that event, you must notify the shop of your cancellation and arrange to return the products to the shop no later than 14 days after notifying us of your cancellation.
Buyers are responsible for return postage costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Welcome to our shop:) Wild Atlantic Wood is a handmade business based in West Cork Ireland. All products in our shop are designed and made in our workshop using sustainably forested timber and then wrapped for posting using recyclable/compostable packaging material purchased here in Ireland. The use of plastic is kept to a minimum.
