Our Ivy Blossom honey is collected by the bees in late September, October and November from the flowers of the ivy plant (yes, they do have flowers!) Customers find it really good for the respiratory system due to its qualities. Good alternative to manuka honey, it crystallises very quickly and is always packaged in this state. These beeswax candles are handmade in small batches at our honey farm with beeswax from our own Native Irish Black Honey Bees. These particular candles are dipped over and over to allow the layers of wax to build up. Beeswax is an eco-friendly, non toxic wax. It does not emit chemicals into the atmosphere and burns slowly with a warm glow. Some consumers have found it beneficial to their respiratory system. 12 hours burning time.
