It is a  busy wee tourist town in the summer months.  Many families go walking on the beach from the pier right up to Kinnigar beach. It is a lovely walk and you have beautiful trees on the left while walking along. Rathmullam beach looks right across to Buncrana with the Swilly in between.    In 1607 this is the port from which the Flight of the Earls sailed for mainland Europe. Rathmullan is one of the deepest safe anchorages in Europe and was used by the British Fleet during world wars.  During the summer the Ferry goes from Rathmullan to Buncrana and for landing fish during the Autumn.   Rathmullan is a very busy tourist village. The White Shore Fanad Coasters  The White Shore is named for its beautiful white sand in Ballyhernan Fanad, Co Donegal Ireland. Situated on the Fanad peninsula to the west of Fanad Head. Situated on the northern coast of the Fanad Peninsula in North Donegal, the lighthouse is a signature discovery point on the Wild Atlantic Way - a world-famous coastal route that spans seven of Ireland’s counties, taking in some breathtaking scenery along the way. One of the worlds most beautiful and photographed lighthouses on one of Ireland’s headlands most northerly headlands in Fanad Co Donegal Ireland.  The lighthouse has been keeping watch on the marine traffic since 1817. In 1817 the Saldhana was wrecked in Lough Swilly with the loss of 254 souls with the only survivor the ships parrot. It was after this tragedy that a lighthouse was built and was first lit on St Patrick's Day1817. It is now a holiday destination with apartments for rent.

Also known as Ballyherrian Bay but to locals is called White Shore. So many visitors walk this beach on another entrance you c the car park behind the  Eeel Burn caravan park. Many mobile camper vans you will see as you arrive. but only a few. In the summer it can be busy, but you can always get a great walk on the White Shore.  Another entrance is over at Dins Shore and Community center. Just so you know this is not a medical device or aid * This is my post mastectomy/lumpectomy/upper chest surgery support pillow is ideal for use directly after surgery, or in the following weeks while healing takes place. * This support cushion is shaped to fit comfortably under the affected arm, and is filled with hollow polyester fibres to a fairly firm finish, not too hard or soft, perfect to provide adequate support and comfort. * This pillow reaches mid chest in width, so it will easily cover the surgery area, and provide support  and padding. I am a breast cancer survivor myself so I understand what is needed after having had chest surgery, and how important comfort and support are as healing occurs. I have sought advice from the Road Safety Authority in Ireland, in relation to the suitability of my pillows to be used when driving, if positioned under a seat belt. They recommend that I advise caution to customers on the use of aids that have the potential to interfere with any safety features in the car, and potentially increasing risk of injury. I want to ensure customers that I take their safety and security sincerely when ordering products from my shop. * It measures 43cm wide X 37cm long and 10 cm in depth. This print fabric and is soft and breathable. All cushions come with a made with love by Rodgerson Handcraft label and are reversible. You can opt for matching side ties which can be used to secure the pillow in place, if desired.
