I am a baskestmaker by profession based in Belturbet Co. Cavan. I make high quality durable baskets from seasoned willow such as fuel baskets i.e log, turf or coal baskets, shopper baskets, baby's cradles, made to measure storage baskets, plaited wreaths, vegetable/trug baskets & also traditional baskets such as creels, scoibs.
My baskets are resilient and timeless pieces. I grow my own willow it is harvested by hand, then sorted and graded and prepared by my own hands. Each basket is woven to last and if looked after each piece will survive for generations to come.
