Lilly's Lantern
I was on a short trip to Edinburgh, Scotland when I popped into a shop that sold items created by local artists and crafters. Among the lovely crafted gifts for sale was a beautiful vintage teacup and saucer with a candle made inside. I thought to myself I can do that; well little did I know! Making a candle is easy but crafting a high performing candle is a lot harder. So with a lot of support, research and testing my first batch of candles were created ready for others to enjoy. It is important my customers are happy with their purchases. I place value on the quality of my products which sees customers return time and time again.

Namaste and Welcome to the Moksh Ireland community! My name is Gloria J. and I founded Moksh in 2021, fueled by my passion for the Indian culture, craft and the desire to share it with the Irish community. Our story My love for Indian handicrafts and hand-loom began as a little child strolling through the sprawling bazaars of North India with my parents. The captivating array of silk scarves and woollen Kashmir shawls still invoke vivid and warm memories. Each weave had a story to tell and each piece of cloth was a sight to behold. Growing up in India the Kashmir Shawl was an essential part of the wardrobe. It kept you warm during cold winters and kept away the harsher elements on other seasons. This Swiss army knife of Clothing was a gift that kept giving. An inheritance passed on from mother to daughter and father to son. What is the Kashmir Shawl you ask. This humble piece of clothing has evolved from a garment created to protect the wearer from the harsh winters in valleys of Kashmir to an indicator of Nobility and Luxury. Valued for its warmth, light weight and characteristic artistry, this gorgeous piece of finery is now a mainstay in modern haute couture. Moksh Ireland is my effort to bring this piece of home to the Emerald Isle. Moksh Ireland presents a celebration of colors, art and craftsmanship steeped in tradition.

I am Victoria, I make crochet handbags and sell them making a contribution to CMRF Crumlin. Originally from Estonia, moved to Ireland 16 years ago, married an Irishman and now have 3 wonderful children and a handsome dog called Watson. I always knew how to crochet, but never thought much of this skill until i made my first handbag in June 2021 and got a lot of queries about it. From then on I enjoy making unique handbags and this hobby became one of my many passions. When starting a new handbag i usually do not know how it will look like at the end and this is the fun part. I have not managed to make a bag that would be identical to the one already made – which can guarantee the uniqueness of your purchase (when you make one!). So far my ‘Made with Love VC’ handbags have their owners in a few counties in Ireland, UK, Estonia and US. I am looking forward to further expand the geo location. Whenever the sale is made, I make a donation to the CMRF and update my Instagram page with a screenshot of the donation made. I am raising much needed funds by giving you something unique and beautiful back. Thank you for your interest and I look forward to making a handbag that would be right just for you! Victoria

I am an embroiderer living in Dubin. I digitise my own artwork to convert to stitch file and then machine embroider. I am constantly coming up with new ideas for embroidery. My main focus is custom wear and I have done lots of bespoke items to suit custom clients. I am available to do logo work and often digitise logos for businesses and then embroider on work clothing.. Digitising is a form of meditation for me. I can get lost for days in the intricacies of designing. I have digitised from photographs and some of my work is large scale such as digitising an image of a building. I have also digitised pets and people from photographs supplied by customers.

My primary work is in clinical aromatherapy, where I help people to manage health issues naturally. In recent years, I have dipped back into Gaeilge and as my interest grew, I began to include it in work, dealing with some clients through Irish. In 2021 I put together an Irish language diary, Dialann 2022, to foster the love this beautiful language deserves. In its first year, this diary has done very well, proving that the interest is there. I hope you enjoy using your Dialann throughout 2025
