As a visual storyteller The Tea Fairy has been fascinated with photos & postcards since she was young. She is on a creative journey with an aim to create conceptual images from her, “Bucket List,” in order to encourage others to travel & connect. Photos evoke a sense of nostalgia. Some of her influences include Klimt, Tim Burton, Van Gogh & Gerry Coe. The Tea Fairy exhibits, sells online & at Pop Up Markets. She is interested in collaborative creative work, community work & taking commissions. She aims to be environmentally friendly with her products/packaging. Having lived by the sea in Devon for most of my life, then moving to rural Roscommon, I have always loved the changing seasons and stunning vibracy of sea, sky and landscape. I hope, I have been able to capture this in my handmade wool felt and embroidery 3d land and seascapes. I am very lucky to be surrounded by bog land in Roscommon close to the Mayo border. With 3 children and 2 dogs, I spend a lot of time outside, inspiration is all around.

Welcome to Irish Craft Studio; where you will find rustic (and modern) handmade and customised products which are perfect for your home, office or any other place you can imagine. My products also make excellent gifts for those dear to you. I am passionate about creating well designed, hand crafted pieces that tell a story or can start a conversation. The materials I use to create my pieces include: natural slate, wood, ceramic & porcelain tiles and also metal. For me, my favourite materials to work with are slate and wood as these offer the most unique characteristics – no two pieces are ever the exact same due to the natural grain features of each initial raw material. I really enjoy the creativity of designing a new piece and watching it come to life in the workshop, it’s one of the best feelings! I also love working with my customers to help them materialise their own design ideas – making a physical reality of the design concepts they come to me with. So please feel free to reach out to me with your vision and we can work together to make it a reality!
