Eddies Glass Art
A Little About Me Operating from my workshop in Delvin, Westmeath, I curate individual commissions ranging from gifts for loved ones and captivating wall and window art. Over the 10 years, I have updated my craft workshop and showroom to facilitate the manufacturing and design processes, ensuring a secure conducive and safe environment for creativity to flourish. Specializing in the technique of fusing, I employ heat in a kiln to delicately meld together multiple pieces of glass. Through meticulous hand-cutting and shaping, each creation undergoes a transformative process, resulting in unique and captivating pieces. My expertise encompasses various forms of fusing glass and also now using the art of laser technology to further enhance my glass art. Proudly affiliated with the Craft Council of Ireland, I actively participate in craft fairs and exhibitions throughout Ireland, showcasing my portfolio to discerning audiences. Utilizing multiple social media platforms, I diligently update followers on upcoming events, fostering opportunities for personal workshops and firsthand appreciation of my work. Beyond domestic borders, my creations have garnered international acclaim, with exports extending across Europe and beyond. Eager to broaden my market reach further, I aspire to expand sales channels in the foreseeable future. In recognition of my artistic contributions, I was honoured to receive the esteemed Westmeath Irish Artist Award in 2020, a testament to my dedication and proficiency in the field of glass artistry. The Face behind GaryB At GaryB our Vision is to create a better life for wheelchair users. We offer you the opportunity to bring a little more comfort into the life of your loved one. This is supported by our range of products that are purposely designed to enhance their life, keeping them warm and dry, while giving them a sense of style and getting them noticed for all the right reasons. Our products may not be Life Changing but without question are Lifestyle Changing. Our Story……… Gary, our first child was born prematurely at twenty-seven weeks. He spent six long months in hospital and endured many, many complications. Gary suffered profound Global Developmental Delay, from multiple disabilities and Chronic Lung Disease, which made him very susceptible to chest infections. The lack of suitable products on the market made life in bad weather very difficult, so GaryB Wheelchair Accessories was a business I set up to serve this need. Gary inspired me, and the concept for my products was born from a desire to offer him more warmth, choice and colour in his wheelchair accessories. Very sadly my gorgeous Gary died in 2016 aged 16 after a short illness. He led a full and exhilarating life despite his disabilities and was cruising on the Ovation of the Sea in April shortly before he died. He is desperately missed…. We are very proud of the legacy he has left behind, keeping many of his friends and his disabled family warm and cosy. This couldn’t have happened without him. His place in history!!!! It’s been over 10 years since we developed the first GaryB Blanket and we have gone on to develop a range of other related products like the range of specialised GaryB Dribblers. We now produce a range of blankets and dribblers specifically designed for the disabled and elderly. The blankets are warm, waterproof and fashionable and the dribblers are super absorbent, completely leak proof and are age appropriate and discreet. We want to offer you the opportunity to bring a little more comfort into the life of your loved one. We offer you value for money in the form of hard wearing, long lasting, durable products that will stand the test of time through repeated everyday use and daily washing and drying. We know finding practical, functional and durable products that are also fashionable and show personality can be difficult – but with GaryB we’ve got you covered!

Hello, My name is Amelia and I’m thrilled you found my shop. If you are reading this it’s hopefully because you like it :-)Originally from Spain, I moved to Ireland over 20 years ago, where I worked for many years and met my fabulous Cork man (my rock!) with whom I have two little boys (my associates…well, my partners in crime!) Although a woman of science, I inherited an artistic vein from my parents: I got the love for nature from my mum, while my dad passed on to me a fascination for all things paper. I started crafting with my eldest son (Lucky L), while my youngest (Dino D) had his naps, just the usual things to entertain a toddler like painting smiles on a rock, in fact my first logo was created with Lucky L. Now the three amigos go out together on a nature hunt & come back home with lots of treasure: branches, leaves, seeds, rocks, pebbles, sea glass, feathers, moss…we sit at the table and we let ourselves create. The mind of child is amazing and I find myself asking for their opinion on my creations…and I’m the adult haha! Anyway, I hope our little story put a smile on your face and thanks for stopping by! Keep on smiling, love Amelia

I’m Fiona and I live overlooking Bantry Bay, on the beautiful Beara Peninsula in West Cork. I am an avid crocheter and lockdown gave me the luxury of time to indulge my addiction of crocheting scarves and shawls. I also enjoy painting dot mandalas on wooden stones or stones collected from the beach. When not indoors crafting, my husband and I can be found walking the many beauty spots of West Cork . We are keen beekeepers with about 7 hives, Fee’s Bees, which help the environment and provide us with the most beautiful pure honey.

Hi, I’m Kathleen and I am a maker of hand-made textile accessories, all of which are designed and made in my home in Dublin, Ireland. I concentrate on sourcing beautiful fabrics to create practical lifestyle accessories. My main product lines are bags and snoods, with my winter snoods being my best selling product. I am a start-up company who moved from a market business into the online space in 2020. I have always had a passion for fabrics and for making. In 2020, after a lifelong career in technology and in education, I decided to turn my passion for making into a small business. My inspiration comes from beautiful fabric design and textures, from the colours of the sea and I love the of the design influences of Japanese and Scandi cultures. My ethos is on sustainable design and the circular economy and many of my bags are made from recycled and reworked fabrics. I support the slow fashion movement and am very happy to mend products for customers if needed (I have replaced a bag strap where a dog chewed the original…. twice :-)). All products are affordable and are ideal as gifts for others …. And of course for yourself. The company name is very special to me and is ‘borrowed’ from one of my favourite poems – The Cloths of Heaven by William Butler Yeats – which finishes with the line “ ……..I spread my dreams under your feet, Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.”
