Originals, prints & greeting cards. Painted, Printed, Produced & Packaged all in West Cork, Ireland. I print all my prints and mount / frame all my own originals & prints. After studying art at school, I didn't paint again until 2013 when my partner and I decided that we would move to West Cork to be closer to his family. Once here, it didn’t take long for me to feel completely at home. With the beauty and vibrant colours of West Cork surrounding me, the urge to paint took hold once again. I am a self taught artist. I love subtlety of colour, tone & texture & primarily use acrylics, watercolour & chalk pastels. The landscape, seascape & wildlife of West Cork are truly breathtaking and the inspiration for my work.

Hi my name is Dave and I am the maker of all the items in my store. I'm design and produce all of my products from in a little workshop in Cork City but can be found at the Marina Market, Cork from time to time. I initially designed the Hurley Holder for all of my kids hurleys that I found myself tripping over or could not find when it was time to go training. Finally there was a space saving way to keep aal of the hurleys tidy.

Jaconi Crafts

Jaconi Crafts started off as a family business that was established back in 2015.  Now with my children grown up and having their own jobs, it has been left to me to continue on with an occasional help from them.  Jaconi Crafts have also been in many papers and our items have been shown on TV on numberous of occasions, even had a film crew in our house. We just love knowing that a piece of our work are in many houses across Ireland , England, Northern Ireland , Scotland and even as far as Dubai…. Even Baz Ashmawy has brought a piece of our handmade work. All items are unique and handmade, creating a large range of gifts for every occasion.

Likewise, our Personalised Prints have been a very popular addition to our store. Included with all our candles is a battery replaceable tea-light for safety and soft candle-like flicker making our candles ideal for a childs bedroom. In daylight they look like an abstract design but in dim light the magic happens and your image magically appears. Sock Talk

SockTalk was set up in 2022 by Mike Shyne. Based in Limerick, Mike wants to help spread the conversation about mental health, based on the experiences of others and his own experiences suffering from anxiety. Mike appeared as the first male contestant on RTÉ’s fashion TV show The Style Counsellors in January 2022. Together with the team on the show, he was able to dramatically transform his wardrobe and style to better reflect his personality and physique. After his transformation, he immediately noticed the effects on his well-being and confidence and learned about the importance of simple acts of self-care. With SockTalk, Mike wants to show how clothes can both dramatically affect one’s mental health for the better. Not only do the products available on the website provide a positive message about mental health, but it also shows that simple gifts of clothing to another person can dramatically improve their wellbeing.

The Clay Conifer

    Allow me to introduce myself. I’m a busy Mam of two living in the beautiful Hill of Down, Co Meath next to the Royal Canal Greenway. I’m a native of Edenderry, Offaly. In my former career I had an undergraduate degree in Social studies and was studying for a degree in forensic psychology. Most of my career I spent managing a youth justice project supporting vulnerable teenagers. However all of that changed when I took a career break to spend time with my young children. My outlook completely changed and my priorities did too. I have always been a creative soul and find pure joy in making with my own hands. So with huge family support I established my own little business – The Clay Conifer and have never been happier. My goal is to be Irelands ‘go to’ small business to shop for the highest quality handmade clay gifts for all occasions.

Maria is an Irish artist who was born in cork, Ireland. Her love for art came at a very young age where she had an undeniable urge to create and continues to do so everyday. Maria works with large and small scale paintings that are vibrant and full of life and energy. Maria uses acrylic paints as her main medium with simple brush strokes to give that diverse effect. Maria’s paintings are mainly of colourful animals. The colour pallet she uses are captivating to the eye with bright bold colours that draw you in to her creative and colourful world of art. Maria is diverse with her paintings giving the viewer more to see but is known for her vibrant and colourful work.

Margenta Jewellery

I have always loved crafting and being creative. Over the years I have practiced many different crafts like painting and sewing. I have attended a variety of classes and hold a certificate in Visual Art Practice from the National College for Art and Design. Some years ago I started making jewellery and I absolutely loved it. I have worked with many materials – silver, copper, glass, resin, beads, gemstones and lots more and have no particular favourite as yet – I like them all! My proudest moment on my jewellery making journey has been when my son asked me to make his wedding ring. I hope you enjoy looking at my creations as much as I have enjoyed making them and I would be delighted and indeed flattered if you wish to purchase any of them.
