Sensory Fabric Chewing Necklaces
Sensory fabric chewing necklaces are a safe chewing option for individuals with oral sensory needs. Chewing can help calm, reduce anxiety and de-stress. It can help increase focus and attention. It can help regulate one’s sensory system. Chewing necklaces can be helpful to promote calmness and focused self-regulation in individuals wiht autism, ADHD, oral sensory processing disorders, special needs or anyone needing oral stimulation. Moreover, Sensory Fabric chewing necklaces provide a safe alternative to chewing on hands, pens, clothing or hard objects. These chewing necklaces are handmade in Lusk, Ireland. I use cotton fabric on the outside, with an extra internal layer of toweling fabric, for extra absorbency. Washable and durable, these sensory fabric chewing necklaces are made with care and attention to detail, from the choice of fabric, the designs to the velcro fastenings, which are cut with round corners to be as comfortable as possible. Each pack contains a random selection of designs, if you have a special request though feel free to get in touch and I will do my best to accomodate you. Measurements: Approximately 64cm x 3.8cm
Care Tips
Whilst the fabrics that I use are of very good quality and durable, please note that more aggressive chewing may lead to faster wear and need for replacement of the sensory fabric chewing necklaces. You can wash the chewies at 40°C. Although cotton fabric would also withstand temperatures up to 60°C, regularly washing at higher temperatures may lead to faster deterioration of the necklace, particularly of the velcro fastening.
Important note
Please note that this product is NOT a toy and its use should be supervised at all times. Not recommended for children under 3 years.

My name is Nadia, I have practised Yoga since 2001 and trained as a teacher here in Ireland. I continue to study to deepen my understanding of this discipline. I am honoured to share the little that I know with anybody who wishes to explore the wonderful gift of Yoga.
.
I teach Yoga for all abilities and stages of life. Offering Movement, Breathing and Meditation practices to benefit all.
.
My background is in Teaching, I worked for many years in Training and Development, specializing in technologies applied to learning.
.
I started using eye pillows to manage headaches and support relaxation and since I enjoy sewing and crafts, I started making them for the students attending my Yoga classes. Soon I got orders from people all over Ireland, not just from Yoga practitioners, but also from those who wanted a tool to help them manage migraines and headaches, promote relaxation and aid sleep routines.
Eye pillows are also great to sooth tired eyes, e.g. if you spend many hours in front of a computer screen.
