The Serenity Gift Box is designed to provide a moment of calm and relaxation. The incense sticks and holder were made by other artisans under fair trade conditions.
The Serenity Gift Box contains:
|| 1x Convert Weighted Eye Pillow ||
Designed for ultimate relaxation, when placed across the eyes the weight of the pillow helps to stimulate the vagus nerve and activate the oculocardic reflex which can result in helping the heart rate to slow and the body to enter a relaxed state.
Filled to a minimum weight of 220g with organic linseed sourced from independent Irish suppliers, the pillow moulds gently around the eyes. Unscented as I believe fragrance is a very personal choice, the user can add a drop of their preferred essential oil to a corner of the inner pillow to personalise the relaxation experience.
This eye pillow is sustainably made with all upcycled fabrics in Co. Monaghan, Ireland. The fabrics were bedding in a past life. The outer case is 100% cotton pale duck-egg blue with a floral pattern (print placement will vary from the images) and the inner pillow fabric is 50/50 cotton polyester mix fabric. The removable cover is washable machine washable at up to 40 degrees. The filled inner pillow is not washable and this pillow is not intended to be heated or cooled.
Measures approximately 23 x 12 CM, the ideal size for blocking out light and visual stimuli in the room, allowing the senses to turn inward and relax.
|| 1x Convert Black Luxe Twist Headband ||
Made by Hannah in Co.Monaghan from 100% upcycled black stretch velvet fabric. The fabric was was clothing in a past life and this piece has helped divert unwanted fabric away from landfill.
The soft mix-fibre fabric is a comforting touch for the head and it’s versatility means it can be dressed up or down. Adult size, spot clean only.
|| 1x Moon Wooden Incense Stick Holder ||
A handcrafted carved incense stick holder to help burn incense safely. Made from Mango wood inlaid with a brass moon and stars design. The crescent moon can symbolise new beginnings and the stars are symbolic of creation too, the ideal accessory for helping to create positive affirmations during the time of relaxation.
Mango wood is a sustainable material as the tree is only cut once it has stopped producing fruit. The producer of this item reuses all remaining wood to create other pieces and the producer was paid a fair price for this item.
Insert the wooden end of the unlit incense into the small hole and ash will fall onto the wood underneath as it burns. Dispose of cooled ash and just wipe clean to keep your holder in great condition.
Approx 25CM long, this is a natural wood piece and may have slight colour variations.
|| 1x Box Satya Lavender Incense Sticks ||
Light an incense stick to create a relaxed atmosphere, lavender scent is renowned for its soothing properties. This vegan-friendly incense is hand-rolled in India under fair trade conditions where artisans are provided with a fair wage & working conditions.
Place in a suitable holder, such as the one in this gift set, and do not leave burning unattended. Keep sticks out of reach of children and pets. Each stick will burn for 30 minutes approx and there are 15g of sticks per box (approx 10-12 sticks)
The gift box outer packaging uses completely sustainable materials:

> The inner fill is 100% paper sheet and shred, this can be recycled or composted.
> Two types of raffia are tied around the box – the green paper raffia can be recycled or composted and the pale natural palm raffia can be composted.

Thanks for stopping by, this is the Convert story.
Did you know it can take 20,000 litres of water to make the cotton fabric for a pair of jeans and a t-shirt, roughly the same amount an average Irish citizen uses in 5 months?
Did you know that in Europe, every second the equivalent of one garbage truck of textiles is incinerated or sent to landfill?
Did you know the fashion industry is responsible for 10 % of annual global carbon emissions, more than all international flights and maritime shipping combined?
Maybe you do. A couple of years ago I didn’t, but when I did the idea for Convert was born.
I am Hannah the creator behind Convert. I have a background in textiles and I love the challenge of taking a preloved textile and giving it a new life as something else. All Convert products contain at least 70% upcycled fabric by weight.
I don’t buy something brand new and “repurpose” it, I will always be transparent when I have used a new element and all of my product descriptions identify the % of upcycled fabric it contains.
All fabric scraps get re-worked into some of the Convert product range to aim for zero-waste production.
Convert sustainable textile creations for living and gifting are handcrafted in Carrickmacross, Co. Monaghan.
