Twiddle Muff, XL adult size
Best Wishes for Christmas and the New Year.
Twiddle Muff, sensory aid and handwarmer. Large size & Luxurious. Handknitted.
Twiddle Muffs are knitted or crochet hand warmers with sensory items attached to keep hands active and busy. This can have a soothing effect for anyone with restless hands and keeps the hands warm at the same time. Suitable and beneficial for any-one and all ages, in particular for children with sensory issues or Dementia patients. There are usually beads, buttons, and ribbons attached on the outside and inside to “twiddle”. Different colours and textures give visual, tactile and sensory stimulation. Some have a playful wooden ring attached, covered with yarn and/or a tiny cushion scented with fresh lavender .The ring can be moved/secured by a button at the centre; the cushion can be removed in case washing is needed. Luke-warm handwash recommended. Beads and buttons are securely sewed on, but may become loose over time. Therefor this product is not suitable for very young children, or any person who is at risk of ingesting inedible objects.

Sailí Mo “The Willow Witch”
Creating something with my own hands, with natural materials is what I love. Weaving baskets with willow that I have grown myself, cared for and turned into a pliable material is a magical process, hence the name Willow Witch. My baskets are handmade with care, strong and durable and at the end of their long life they are fully degradable.
Knitting is something I seem to have done all my life. I like to make a variety of articles, small enough to be made in a few days, or in between the basketry. Multi-colour yarns are my favourite, seeing the colour change as you create is also……. a little bit of magic……
I make my craft in North Co. Galway. For more about me, my baskets and other crafts visit my website: thewillowwitch.wordpress.com
