Our kits make it easy for you to grow and juice Wheatgrass at home. Like everything we eat, the fresher the produce, the better for you. So following a few simple steps, you will be juicing Wheatgrass in ten days.
And when you are waiting, why not start juicing some vegetables from your garden or bought locally.
Step one ( enough for three trays)
- Add 450g of organic wheatgrass seed into a bowl.
- Add two caps of liquid seaweed.
- Soak the Wheatgrass seed for eight hours.
- Empty the seeds into a colander 12 hours. During this time, rinse or spray the seeds with the seed booster a few times to keep them hydrated.
Step Two.
Add 1-2 cm of organic compost into the trays. Tap the trays and flatten the soil ten sprinkle some of the granular seaweed on the compost. ( this will give more nutrients to the growing seeds and a better after-crop)
Stray the soil with the seed booster; you don’t want it soaking.
The seeds will have expanded in size during the soaking process.
Spread the seeds over the compost covering all the compost, and as evenly as you can. It is best if the seeds are not on top of each other this could cause mould. Spray the seed with the seed booster. #
Step Three
Keep the seeds in darkness, and cover them with old newspaper or foil. It is essential to keep the seeds moist for the next two days, misting them twice daily. If using paper as a cover, wet it before use.
Step Four.
When the seeds are growing, they will lift the cover off the trays, and this is the time to remove the lid and let the light in, around 3-4 cm tall. During the next four-six days, you will need to mist the new grass daily and don’t overwater it; Wheatgrass doesn’t like too much water. After that, If the trays feel light, spray more.
Step Five.
Harvest & Juicing time, when the grass is 5-6 inches tall, cut the grass with a knife or scissors a the height of the top of the tray. Wash and put into the juicer to make 30ml or a shot glass of wheatgrass juice.

We source all our seaweed from Irish suppliers and make sure they are a 100% Natural product. We have been using seaweed products in our garden for years and found that there were a lot of products on the market that did not really do what they would claim to do, that they had a lot of chemicals in them and some were so watered down that the goodness was gone out of the seaweed.
