Handwoven Fairy House in Willow, not to be mistaken for a birdhouse!
Fairy house woven from willow. For hanging-up, indoor or outdoor. Similar to my Birdhouses, but this has a rope-ladder and ‘curtains’ in the doorway and window. A little fairy is just climbing in!
With small items included (beads, pipecleaners) this is not a toy for small children. Intended as decoration or garden ornament. Diameter (base) 16 cm, Height 21 cm.

Creating something with my own hands, with natural materials is what I love. Weaving baskets with willow that I have grown myself, cared for and turned into a pliable material is a magical process, hence the name Willow Witch. My baskets are handmade with care, strong and durable and at the end of their long life they are fully degradable.
Knitting is something I seem to have done all my life. I like to make a variety of articles, small enough to be made in a few days, or in between the basketry. Multi-colour yarns are my favourite, seeing the colour change as you create is also……. a little bit of magic……
