‘Prayer & Meditation bench’ is an ideal assistive device to support your prayer & meditation practice. There is a folding and a fixed model available. The stool is handmade in Ireland from locally sourced wood, the inlay work is also handmade and gives the stool an elegant look. The stool is polished to a smooth finish and can be used with or without a pillow.
The standard size of the folding stool is approx 17”(43cms) length x 6”(15cms) wide x 7”(18cms) height. The standard size of the fixed stool is approx 17”(40cms) length x 6”(15cms) wide x 7”(18cms) height. The weight of the ‘Prayer & Meditation Bench/stool’ is approx 1.13 kg .
Correct posture is essential to achieve your aim in meditation and the Prayer & Meditation bench/stool comes with a gentle incline which enables you to keep your spine and neck straight with the shoulders pulled back, in a relaxed manner, without putting any strain on your knees.

I met Uday at the mind & body event in RDS in September 2023. I wanted to try a meditation bench for some time and was thinking to buy one. I got a chance to try one, and I loved that these were handmade (by beautiful & lovable people on top of that). This is a game changer in terms of meditation position. I can now meditate longer, and keep my back straight with no effort, I'm really amazed how it changed my meditation journey. (I used to meditate with a zafu/cushion). Thank you !

I have always sat cross legged for my meditation and in vajrasan while doing yoga. Of late I experienced a pain in the upper muscle of my right thigh. My daughter who was visiting at that time suggested I use an elevated cushion to ease the pain. That is when I thought of using the meditation bench hand crafted by Uday which I had with me. To my amazement this supportive seating device eased my posture and released all the pressure on my thigh. To my amazement it also helped me automatically to keep my spine and neck upright. This relief gave me unimaginable satisfaction. It helped me concentrate on my meditation and yoga exercises. The meditation bench is beautifully hand crafted with super inlay work. Uday's meditation bench is beautifully hand crafted in wood with very nice inlay work. It has a smooth and silky feel to it. The incline eases the pressure on the knees and automatically helps to keep the spine and neck upright. This helps in concentrating on my meditation. A definite buy for your meditation practice.
