Orla Clancy Contemporary Art sells artworks made by Irish artist Orla Clancy. Works sold include original drawing and paintings, works on paper and fine art prints on paper.
Orla's considerable body of work includes vibrant landscapes of places she has been to and loved, as well as read about, and works derived from sketches and photos of often random people, which she refers to as 'peoplescapes'. These are not portaits, more snapshots of moments in time which capture a social or relationship dynamic, in which the figures are often turned away from the viewer, or depicted with indistinct facial features, thus allowing the viewer to subconsciously project his or her own story into the painting, and so a narrative is created.

RETURN & REFUND POLICY
When you buy goods online or over the phone, you have 14 days from the date you receive the goods to notify us that you want to cancel your purchase – except in relation to commissioned works which are designed and created with your input and agreement, as these cannot be sold to anyone else.
After you notify us that you are cancelling, you have a further 14 days to return the items purchased. During this time, you are responsible for keeping the goods you bought safe and in good condition. The cost of returning the item(s) (postage or shipping) is the responsibility of the buyer.
We will refund you within 14 days of cancelling your order, but may hold this refund until you have returned the items in good condition and in the original packaging.

SHIPPING INFORMATION
Artworks in stock will ship within 3-5 working days via the Irish postal system An Post (www.anpost.ie) for works that weigh 20 kg or less, or with specialist art courier service Mailboxes, Etc. (MBE Ireland www.mbeireland.ie) for artworks that are too large and/or heavy and/or fragile (e.g. artworks framed with glass) for An Post.
All deliveries must be signed for, and please note that when a delivery of (an) artwork(s) from me is signed for, it is considered delivered to the buyer.
An invoice for compliance with customs regulations for destination countries will also be sent. The buyer of the artwork is responsible for the payment of any import or Customs & Excise taxes that may be charged.
Prices are shown in Euro.
All artworks handled by Orla Clancy personally will be sent with a Certificate of Authenticity.
